in the world, the Loire Valley is the historic heart of France. Its
mild,
pleasant climate, noble architecture,
stirring history, fine wine and
food
combine to make it a perfect expression of French art
de vivre. At La Couture we
provide you with a very comfortable
base from which to explore and enjoy the surrounding vineyards,
countryside,
monuments and gardens. Alternatively, if you are just passing through,
we offer
you a warm welcome and a place to relax for the night
Bed
& Breakfast (Chambre
d'Hote)
- Continental
breakfast
is included in all room rates: tea, coffee, bread, pastries, homemade
jams, bread and pastries from the local
boulangerie, with cereal or yoghurt available as
requested
- Two luxurious
double bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms and one very
comfortable double bedroom, with exclusive bathroom on the landing
"Chequers"
Gite
- We
also have the Chequers gite, available by the week for self-catering
holidays. Tenants of Chequers have their own terrace and entrance and
full use of the gardens
- All guests,
whether in the
chambres d'hote or Chequers, will be able to use the swimming pool from
early-August 2009
Table d'Hote: four courses, unlimited winee
- Our Table d'hote is available to all guests as an optional extra.
We offer four courses of home-cooked food, with locally-sourced specialities and eggs and organic vegetables from our gardens. All this accompanied by local wine. (white, rose or red, as desired, or indeed any combination).
So no need to drink and drive!
